Technical Recruiter
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing top technical talent for our clients, primarily focusing on W2 hires.
Responsibilities:
* Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to placement, specifically focusing on W2 contract positions.
* Sourcing and Networking: Leverage various sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and internal databases to build a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
* Candidate Screening: Conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and candidate preferences, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
* Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand role requirements and business needs, providing insights and setting realistic hiring expectations.
* Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all hiring activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly regarding W2 requirements, including employment eligibility verification and tax forms.
* Job Postings and Marketing: Craft compelling job descriptions and promote job openings across various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
* Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, providing timely feedback and guidance to both parties.
* Negotiations and Offers: Assist in negotiating compensation packages, benefits, and employment terms for W2 positions, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
* Candidate Experience: Maintain a high standard of candidate experience by providing clear communication, timely feedback, and a smooth onboarding process for successful placements.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 0.5–2 years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong focus on W2 placements.
* Technical Proficiency: Understanding of IT and technical roles, as well as the ability to assess technical qualifications effectively.
* Knowledge of W2 Employment: Familiarity with W2 contract requirements, including payroll, tax, and legal considerations.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present opportunities persuasively and build rapport with candidates and clients.
* Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
* ATS Experience: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, and others.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Skills:
* Prior experience in a recruitment agency setting.
* Strong negotiation skills and understanding of market trends in technical staffing.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing client needs.
