The company provides MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and related BIM production services for architects, engineers, and owners.ResponsibilitiesModel MEP trades (HVAC, plumbing) to project scope and client requirements, with attention to quality, LOD, and QAQC.Coordinate and detect clashes using Navisworks (Revizto considered but Navisworks prioritized); generate clash reports and support model accuracy.Collaborate on information review, modeling, and coordination phases to preempt client problems.Adapt modeling effort based on project scope (zones or entire buildings) and available trade information.Minimum qualificationsExcellent level of English (spoken and written) required; candidates must maintain fluent communication with native and non-native speakers. Candidates without this requirement will NOT be considered.Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers); for plumbing, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and hangers.Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto acceptable but Navisworks preferred); knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering; architects could be considered if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves.Preferred/Additional qualificationsExperience with LEVEL OF DETAIL (LOD) 400 and projects based in the US; constructability knowledge related to the US market is advantageous.Familiarity with BIM add-ins (e.g., Evolve, SysQue, Fabrication Parts).Experience in conceptual design / BIM design assist.Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D.Knowledge of Dynamo/Python applied to BIM.On-site/field experience and ability to produce detailed models with real-world fittings and connection types.Please note: If you do not have experience working with Revit in formal jobs, or if your English level does not meet the requirement, your profile may not be considered.About ENGWho we are: ENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company that specializes in hands-on, field-focused BIM services.
