Steam Turbine & Generators (STG) Head of Service Sales LATAM
A Snapshot of Your DayThe Steam Turbine & Generators (STG) Head of Service Sales for Latin America region is responsible for all the service sales related activities in the region and ensuring customer satisfaction in an installed base of close to 5000 units across different countries and industrial verticals.
How You’ll Make An Impact
You will lead a team of client managers and marketing professionals (quotation/bid management professionals) located across the region including Mexico, Trinidad Tobago, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Chile
You will be responsible for all the sales related activity in the region and to deliver on all the main sales related KPIs such as Order entry, profit, revenue, market share, customer satisfaction etc.
You will ensure smooth coordination and regular communication with all the different factories and support team located in different parts of the world- including Germany, Sweden, Brazil and India
You will work towards achieving high level of motivation and satisfaction in your team by ensuring vertical and horizontal growth opportunities for your team, organizing learning and development programs and promote a healthy & transparent work culture.
You will conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, monitor competitors' activities, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer requirements.
You will ensure that the regional and global business strategy is understood and cascaded down and communicated effectively in the organization.
You will work with different product and service lines such as Spare Parts, Long term maintenance plans (LTPs), Repair, Mods & Ups, Revamps etc and ensure equal and dedicated focus on each of them.
You will ensure high level of customer satisfaction and engagement (measure by means of NPS scores) and thus ensuring a high service backlog which will be critical for business continuity.
You will ensure strong collaboration with other Siemens Energy teams with respect to customer relationship management and opportunity development.
You will work very closely with the new units sales team focusing on offering a complete end-to-end product across the lifecycle to the customers
What You Bring
Completed post-secondary education – University/College
Proficiency in English and Spanish/Portuguese language is very important.
12-14 years’ total experience in a sales & business development profile
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role
Understand the Latin America energy and industrial market.
Experience in turbomachinery/rotating equipment services market will be a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities by delivering on each quarter’s performance while building a pipeline for long-term success.
Right leadership mindset to grow and develop people.
Willingness to travel across Latin America region (up to 40/50% of the time)
