Job Summary:
This position plays a critical role in our sales team, requiring technical expertise to build solutions and enable partners. The successful candidate will work with partners to establish strong services practices, align their needs with our value proposition, and demonstrate the partner's strengths.
About You:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer who can represent our company as a technical advisor. This individual will travel extensively, managing technical relationships with channel partners, delivering training and enablement, and establishing connections with technical teams. Key responsibilities include providing product demos, technical enablement, and strategic positioning of our platform with other technologies sold by partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Align partner needs and strategy with the value of our platform
* Provide product demos on all aspects of our Platform
* Deliver technical enablement and training to strategic/national partners
* Strategically position our platform with other technologies sold by partners
* Participate in partner business planning activities by supporting the development and execution of the partner technical business plan
* Facilitate the planning and preparation of partner Sales Engineers (SEs) in achieving our and industry certifications
* Oversee partner pre-sales activities, including competitive analysis, test plans, demos, proofs of concept, and RFPs
* Cross-communicate our and partner value propositions, especially between partner and field SEs
* Understand and effectively present our security platform
* Create, execute, and review a technical readiness plan with the CBM/regional sales team, including measurable achievements to track progress
* Deliver localized technical training to partner's pre-sales and post-sales technical resources
* Support product/service training of the partner sales teams
* Educate and promote the use of our support model and effective use of available resources
* Collaborate with the CBM/regional sales team on the development and management of the channel partner business plan and mutual action plans
* Understand and communicate the business advantages of a partnership with us
* Develop a strong understanding of our channel partner objectives
Your Background:
As a qualified candidate, you should possess experience working in a technical capacity with Service Providers/Telco's. You must be fluent in English and have strong communication and listening skills. Additionally, you should be able to write and speak clearly and precisely, structure information logically for digestion, ask questions to clarify situations before acting or making decisions, and understand how to qualify partner needs to create accord. Relevant industry certifications are also preferred.
