ServiceNow Technical Expert Role Description
As a ServiceNow Technical Expert, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving the company's ServiceNow instance as the primary IT service management platform. This individual will make hands-on architectural decisions, guide and supervise external partners in development and application management, and directly contribute to configuration, development, and administration of ServiceNow.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in scripting and integration within ServiceNow, as well as excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. They must also have prior experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Key Responsibilities:
* Making architectural decisions for ServiceNow configuration and development.
* Guiding external partners responsible for ServiceNow development projects.
* Performing tasks related to Configuration Development Administration (CDA).
The successful candidate is expected to prioritize out-of-the-box functionality over customizations whenever possible. Additionally they should follow best practices that align with scalable design principles while ensuring maintainability of the system at all times.
