Context and Project Description:
AVSI Brasil is a non-profit civil society organization established in 2007, focused on improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations. Affiliated with the Italian NGO Fundação AVSI, active in Brazil since the 1980s, its mission is to promote the protagonism of individuals, families, and communities in their development. It implements social projects based on a methodology of comprehensive and solidarity development aimed at autonomy and human dignity.
The project involves providing specialized services related to socio-educational and pedagogical work on energy efficiency issues. This includes working with low-income clients, residential, commercial, and public units within the energy distribution areas of Neoenergia. The "Energy Classes" project conducts educational activities for students and the general public to promote the safe and efficient use of electrical energy through specific content and equipment. These actions are carried out in the capital and interior of Bahia state.
Job Summary:
Educational monitoring of energy efficiency projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and guiding students, teachers, and the general public in the "Energy Classes" spaces.
* Assembling and disassembling mobile educational units.
* Conducting educational talks on the safe and efficient use of electrical energy.
* Performing repairs and maintenance on UME and equipment collections.
* Operating equipment during processes.
* Assisting the public and routine activities of the project.
* Supporting other educational projects.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Administrative support, including internet research, material organization, and data entry.
