**Global Voice Talent Researcher - Brazil Market Study**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented researcher to conduct a comprehensive study on voice talent compensation within Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local voice talent landscape, excellent communication skills, and native-level fluency in Portuguese (Brazil).
The goal of this project is to gather pricing information and insights into the current market dynamics for various media types, including narration, advertising, and AI use cases. We will also identify emerging trends in voice talent compensation within the locale.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting research to determine current voice talent hourly rates and buyout practices
* Gathering information on pricing differences between union and non-union talent, where applicable
* Identifying emerging trends in voice talent compensation
* Compiling findings into a clear and concise report
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Native-level fluency in Portuguese (Brazil)
* Business proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
* Familiarity with the local voice talent industry, potentially as a voice talent, in casting, studio operations, or related fields such as media transcription or international language operations
* Strong research and communication skills
Preferred background includes experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
* Voice-over artistry
* Audio production or studio management
* Casting for voice talent
* Media transcription (e.g., transcribing audio for various media)
* International language operations (e.g., translation, localization project management)
