What you’ll do The Data Solutions Senior Consultant is responsible for designing and leading overall strategic and tactical data initiatives like data quality assessments, data quality management, procurement data insights and analytics, as well as other Global Data Services (GDS) delivery projects for our customers in various industry and functional domains. The DS Senior Consultant will also coordinate data quality-related services, such as data cleansing and information enhancement, create project plans, coordinate workshops & provide effective communication and issue resolution as needed. The DS Senior Consultant will interact with both on-site team members and directly with customers to understand their specific data requirements and needs and translates those requirements into a comprehensive data solution. The consultant will lead the analysis of customer data, provide guidance on improvements and data corrections, and develop best practice recommendations. The DS Senior Consultant may also, under the general direction of GDS leadership, lead initiatives aimed at process improvements and/or automation, or the creation of new data-related services. What you bring This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to understand the specific data management needs and be able to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution. The Senior Data Solutions Consultant must be able to lead and provide guidance to other team members to ensure overall delivery of customer specific data solution implementations. The Senior Consultant should have good knowledge and experience in master data management, master data processes, and data standards. Functional Knowledge of SAP Modules like SD, MM, PP & FICO would be a plus. The Senior Consultant should also have experience working with Data Management and Analytics tools either from the SAP suite of solutions - such as SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, MDG, SAP Data Intelligence, and possibly SAP Analytics Cloud/Datasphere - or from working with comparable non-SAP solutions. Technical coding skills in ABAP, SQL, JavaScript and any one of programming language like JAVA or Python would be a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
