As a Strategic Account Manager at Amaris Consulting, you are the architect and owner of high-value client relationships. You drive sustainable growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts by combining commercial acumen, delivery governance, and sector expertise. Acting as the primary bridge between Amaris and your clients’ executive stakeholders, you translate their strategic ambitions into tangible outcomes through our consulting capabilities, Centers of Excellence, and delivery hubs.
Your missions
* Define and execute long-term account strategies aligned with client business priorities, market evolution, and Amaris’ service roadmap.
* Lead client governance (SteerCos, QBRs, executive reviews), ensuring performance, satisfaction, and continuous value creation.
* Grow strategic portfolio revenue through cross-selling, up-selling, and expansion across geographies and service lines (IS&D, Engineering, Life Sciences, etc.).
* Act as strategic advisor to client executives, identifying innovation opportunities and bringing thought leadership from Amaris CoEs and brands
* Steer delivery excellence in partnership with Delivery Managers and Recruitment teams; monitor KPIs, profitability, and project health.
* Shape commercial frameworks and contracts, ensuring compliance, risk control, and optimized delivery models.
* Analyze market and competitive dynamics to anticipate client needs and position Amaris as a trusted long-term partner.
* Drive internal account governance, ensuring alignment across sales, delivery, finance, and global teams to achieve account objectives.
Your profile
* Bachaelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, client partnerships, or business development in a consulting, technology, or engineering services environment.
* Proven track record of growing and retaining strategic accounts ($1M+ annual portfolio) through governance, delivery excellence, and executive engagement.
* Demonstrated experience in managing multi-stakeholder relationships (Procurement, IT, Operations, R&D, or Engineering).
* Strong business and financial acumen — able to manage P&L, forecast revenue, and monitor delivery margin.
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with experience structuring MSAs, SOWs, or framework agreements.
* Fluent in English (required); French or Spanish a strong asset for regional collaboration.
* Familiarity with AI-driven business models or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach: able to balance long-term vision and operational execution.
* Highly adaptable, entrepreneurial, and capable of thriving in a fast-changing international environment.
