Job Overview:
A Digital Asset Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing large-scale digital asset libraries, ensuring the integrity and scalability of these assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Metadata Expertise: Develops and implements metadata models, taxonomy structures, and controlled vocabularies to enhance asset organization and retrieval.
* Asset Management: Organizes and manages extensive digital asset libraries in enterprise DAM platforms, utilizing expertise in folder structures, naming conventions, and tagging standards.
* Quality Assurance: Provides human-in-the-loop support alongside AI tagging tools, ensuring high-quality asset tagging and minimal errors.
* Governance and Training: Collaborates with teams to implement governance policies, metadata best practices, and training programs for marketers and content owners.
* Lifecycle Management: Manages usage rights, compliance workflows, and content lifecycle management, maintaining optimal asset utilization and minimizing risks.
About You
* Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in project management, communications, computational linguistics, or equivalent experience (3 years minimum).
* Project Management Skills: 3+ years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record of successful projects.
* Digital Asset Library Management: At least 3 years of experience in managing extensive digital asset libraries, with expertise in metadata creation, taxonomy development, and asset organization.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach/train content governance and DAM operational policies to diverse teams.
* Problem-Solving and Service Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and a service mindset, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
