WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Americas Payroll team within Finance, where we are responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across the region. In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across Payroll, HR, People Operations, Staffing, Recruiting, and Finance to support employees and ensure payroll processes run smoothly across multiple South American countries.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Specialist, Americas Payroll, you will play an important role in supporting payroll operations across South America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. You will help ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with local labor, tax, and social security regulations. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical payroll expertise with a service-oriented mindset and careful attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Manage payroll processing activities across South America, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, benefit deductions, statutory deductions, vacation calculations, and leaves of absence
* Process payroll elements accurately and within local legal deadlines, including pay rates, deductions, taxes, benefit-related deductions, and time-related data
* Ensure payroll transactions comply with company policies, local labor laws, tax regulations, and other applicable requirements
* Partner closely with HR, People Operations, Staffing, and Recruiting teams to support an accurate and timely flow of payroll information
* Maintain documentation related to payroll changes and support audit requirements across the region
* Assist in identifying operational risks and strengthening internal controls where needed
* Work with the Payroll Manager to improve payroll processes, systems, and controls on an ongoing basis
* Support system upgrades, testing, and process enhancement initiatives related to payroll operations
* Serve as a main point of contact for employee questions related to payroll
* Provide clear, timely, and high-quality support to employees across the region
* Contribute to additional responsibilities and special projects as needed
ABOUT YOU

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
* Strong expertise in payroll calculations, with a high level of accuracy and consistent compliance with deadlines
* Experience supporting compliance with Brazilian labor and payroll legislation, including CLT, collective bargaining agreement or union rules, INSS, FGTS, IRRF, eSocial, DCTFWeb, and other required payroll-related filings
* Fluency in Spanish, written and verbal; English is a plus
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion
* Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems such as ADP eXpert, ADP Celergo, or similar platforms
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of deliverables
* Collaborative approach, positive attitude, and strong sense of accountability
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience with payroll taxes and labor regulations across multiple South American countries
* Exposure to regional or global payroll environments
* Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting systems
* Experience with Workday
