IT Support Specialist Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to provide top-notch technical assistance to our employees. This role involves analyzing and resolving complex IT issues, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining accurate records of ticket status and fixes.
This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in mixed Mac and Windows environments and possess a strong understanding of delivering IT solutions in a corporate and/or enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze system, application, and hardware issues
* Troubleshoot problems and develop effective solutions
* Keep customers informed about ticket progress
* Collaborate with customers to resolve problems remotely
* Utilize internal resources to find solutions to known issues
* Conduct research to resolve complex issues when needed
* Maintain accurate records of ticket status and fixes
* Evaluate and escalate issues as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent program (preferred)
* Proven track record of IT experience
* Knowledge of delivering IT solutions in a corporate and/or enterprise environment
* Experience working in mixed Mac and Windows environments
