Commodities Asset Class Onboarding Specialist
The role of a Commodities Asset Class Onboarding Specialist is crucial in ensuring seamless integration of new assets into the Equity Derivatives Trading desk. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for validating and resolving issues related to asset onboarding.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established client team and contribute to the success of the project. You will have the chance to analyze and resolve complex issues, work closely with traders and technical teams, and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
* Work closely and address issues from EQD Desk Traders
* Amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations
* Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
* Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables
* Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
* Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
* Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally
* Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
Requirements:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business
* Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role
* SQL proficiency
* Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
* Must have strong organization skills
