We educate lifelong learners with an international mindset who can solve challenges affecting the community's life and well-being, learning to respect differences and value their own origin.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesTeach classes and guide student learning, promoting experiences based on the Red House pedagogical plan and the needs of each studentKnow the school's Pedagogical Proposal, adopted approach, and learning expectations for the specific gradeAnalyze student evolution, collect evidence, and define actions to improve performanceDevelop strategies with coordination to improve engagement based on observation and evidencePromote special classes and different strategies for students with learning difficultiesPrepare adaptations and accommodations for students with special educational needsEnsure safety by staying with students during activities, guiding and intervening when necessaryObserve student attitudes and behaviors to identify illness conditions and take necessary actionsReport observed behaviors and student performance to the coordinator to inform familiesFollow general Red House guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers\' Handbook, Assessment Policy)Prepare weekly plans as agreed with the coordinator and display them in the classroomPeriodically review weekly plans and re-plan as neededForward copies of activities, projects, and materials for approval by the CoordinationMaintain accurate student records as required by law and policyAdvise students using evidence-based practices and handle conflicts per school philosophyCollect evidence of student learning during lessonsEvaluate students based on evidence, assign grades, and present them to the coordination by deadlinesGuide the Teaching Assistant with clear expectations and deadlines; report development needs to the coordinationInform parents/guardians about student development when requested and with supervisionAttend academic meetings, conferences, and professional development to maintain competenceBe responsible for student materials and class managementCommunicate daily occurrences related to students to the coordinationMaintain classroom objects and equipment and keep the space organizedProvide regular feedback to help students improve in classShare relevant information about students with other teachers in the classMeet deadlines set by Red House guidelines (report cards, unit summaries, etc.)Perform tasks described above and those assigned by the immediate superiorRequisitos e qualificaçõesEducation: History, Geography or Sociology Degree (certified to teach History and Geography)Experience: 2 years of teaching experience for middle years, desirable; Classroom managementLanguages: Proficiency in EnglishSpecific Technical Knowledge: Bilingualism; Microsoft Office; Video and photo recording and editing techniques; Personal branding; Social media toolsDesirable Knowledge: IB MethodologySoft Skills and Values: Digital Thinking; Caring Profile; Interpersonal Relationships; Conflict Management; Creativity; Collaboration; Autonomy; ProactivityInformações adicionaisCampus: Museu do IpirangaWorking Hours: A combinar
