Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Production Supervisor.What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
Reporting under the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is accountable in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the assigned line/s following implementation applicable of maintenance, quality, occupational safety and line HR systems, anchored with business needs and objectives.
The Production Supervisor implements strategies and action items to goals and objectives of the production line by monitoring key performance indicators and line trends.
On top of these, the Production Supervisor puts into place efficient resource management focused on maximizing material savings, cost improvement and overall equipment effectiveness.What are the Qualifications?
Graduate of any engineering course, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; license and/or certification, or graduate studies, preferably related to relevant Engineering field, are advantages;With at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry, 1 year of which in supervisory capacity; experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage;Has a deep knowledge in end-to-end value chain management for Production spanning Production Planning, Material Requisition, Production Operations and Warehousing;With aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;With prominent leadership, communication and basic management (planning, leading, organizing and controlling) skills, communication skills, team player, keen to details, and organized record-keeping skills;With proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP;With knowledge in ISHIKAWA, BEC and 6W2H methodologies; andWith excellent people management skills, backed by solid experience in coaching, mentoring employee discipline, performance management, talent development and change management.
