Visual Creative Strategist Role
At our organization, we're on the lookout for a skilled Visual Creative Strategist to spearhead growth through emotionally resonant ad creative. Our best-performing ads evoke nostalgia and emotional connection – the message resides in the visuals, pacing, and music, not lengthy copy.
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will encompass transforming insights into captivating hooks and storyboards, selecting music, pacing, and shot lists that effectively convey the message. You'll also craft concise briefs for creators/editors, source and manage creators, guide editing (cuts, rhythm, captions/overlays when needed) to maximize thumb-stop, CTR, and CVR, launch rapid tests, analyze performance (nCAC, CTR, hold rate, ROAS), and iterate swiftly. Additionally, you'll repurpose winning concepts into static formats.
To excel in this position, you'll need a proven track record of video ads that drive conversions, a strong sense of music selection, timing, and visual narrative, comfort with data: interpreting dashboards and deciding the next course of action, experience with user-generated content and short-form paid social platforms (Meta required; TikTok/YouTube a plus), and clear, concise briefs, fast iterations; low-ego, high-ownership mindset.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with editors and creators to develop, test, and scale high-converting video concepts. Your ability to think creatively, analyze data, and adapt quickly will be essential in driving success in this position.
