An Asia-Latam business development job involves developing and executing strategy for trade routes, managing carrier relationships and negotiations for rates and allocations, overseeing volume and pricing, analyzing market trends, and potentially leading a team to achieve profit and volume targets for the trade lane.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policy, coordinating with sales and product teams, and driving business development for the trade lane. Use your enthusiasm and sense of entrepreneurship to leave your mark in the market. With the support of a dedicated team you will explore, develop and create new opportunities. You manage complex negotiations with executives. You are responsible for the follow-up of a variety of customers and expansion of your own portfolio. As sales executive you have your own expertise to support our customer with thorough market- and product knowledge.
Knowledge is power
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who has experience in a commercial roll within logistics, strong knowledge of the Asia x Latam tradelane. You have a deep knowledge of shipping and general freight forwarding. Good knowledge of containerized cargo, bulk liquid will be an advantage. You deliver excellent service - towards customers and colleagues all over the world. You can identify commercial opportunities and translate them into wins for the future. Together we will create the difference with other logistics suppliers. You are PC Literate and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You speak and write English fluently. You like a healthy level of stress in your function, and you are willing to work for a business in full expansion.
