The automotive aftermarket in Brazil is a $1T industry. Millions of cars get repaired every year. And the entire system behind it (how parts get ordered, priced, delivered, and paid for), still runs on phone calls, WhatsApp groups, and gut feelings.
PITZ is building the infrastructure layer for the global automotive aftermarket. A mechanic describes what's wrong with a car — by voice, in Portuguese, in a noisy shop — and our system diagnoses, identifies the exact part from millions of SKUs, selects the best supplier, underwrites credit, and executes the order. Autonomously.
We're already operating. We already have the network. And we're entering Brazil to build something this industry has never seen.
Country Head — Brazil
PITZ | São Paulo (Hybrid) | Reports to CEO
We need someone who knows the Brazilian automotive aftermarket. Who has relationships with distributors, auto parts retailers, and the supply chain that moves parts from manufacturer to mechanic. Someone who's walked into an auto center, a refaccionaria, a distributor warehouse — and understands how this world actually works.
You'll build PITZ Brazil from the ground up. That means signing distributors, activating workshops, building a commercial team, managing a P&L, and scaling operations across multiple cities. São Paulo first. Then Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Rio, and beyond.
This isn't a corner office job. You'll visit shops. You'll negotiate with distributors. You'll get your hands dirty. And you'll build something that will change how an entire industry operates.
We don't need a generic Country Manager who's run SaaS companies or managed marketing teams.
What you'll do
* Own the Brazil P&L. Revenue, margins, costs, team — everything. You're not managing a function. You're running a country.
* Build the distributor network. PITZ's model is seller‑led. You sign distributors and they activate workshops. You need to know how to find them, convince them, onboard them, and grow them. If you've never scaled through distribution channels, this isn't your role.
* Expand city by city. Start in São Paulo, prove the model, then replicate in 5+ cities within 12 months. You need to have operated across multiple cities in Brazil — not just São Paulo.
* Build and lead a commercial team. You'll hire and manage sales reps, distributor success managers, and growth leads. If you've never built a team from scratch, this will be hard.
* Drive credit adoption. PITZ Capital is our embedded credit product. It increases ticket size 35-50%. You'll push credit penetration from 40% to 70% across your workshop base.
* Coordinate with Mexico and US operations. PITZ operates in three countries. You'll share learnings, align on product feedback, and contribute to global strategy.
What you bring
* Deep knowledge of the Brazilian automotive aftermarket or adjacent industries. Auto parts, lubricants, tires, fleet management, automotive distribution, or MRO. You know the players, the channels, and how parts move from manufacturer to mechanic in Brazil. This is non‑negotiable.
* P&L ownership experience in Brazil. You've been responsible for revenue and profitability of a business unit or country operation. Give us numbers.
* Experience scaling through distribution channels. B2B, channel sales, distributor networks. Not direct sales. Not e-commerce. Distribution.
* Multi‑city operations in Brazil. You've managed operations in at least 3+ cities simultaneously. You understand the logistics, the regional differences, and what it takes to scale nationally.
* Startup speed. You can operate with limited resources, make decisions with incomplete data, and move fast without waiting for permission. If you've spent 15 years in corporate and never worked without a big budget — think carefully.
* Fluent Portuguese and professional English. You'll work with a team across Brazil, Mexico, and the US.
Nice to have
* Experience at companies like DPaschoal, Rede Âncora, Nakata, Mahle Aftermarket, Grupo Saga, or major auto parts distributors
* Background in marketplace or platform businesses (Mercado Libre, iFood, Loggi, 99)
* Experience with embedded credit or fintech products
* Network in the Brazilian automotive ecosystem — OEMs, distributors, retailers, workshop chains
What you won't find here
* A slow‑moving company. We operate at startup speed across three countries.
* A\ "Country Head\" title with noreal power. You own Brazil. Your decisions. Your team. Your results.
* A company that needs you to manage what already exists. There's nothing here yet. You build it.
Why this matters
Everyone is building tech for people who already sit behind screens. We're building it for the people who keep cars running — with their hands, in noisy shops, across Latin America.
The automotive aftermarket is one of the largest industries in the world and almost nobody is building infrastructure for it. The company that builds the intelligence layer first, wins. In Brazil, that's you.
About the founder
* PITZ was founded by Natalia Salcedo. Before PITZ, she led growth at Rappi and co‑founded JOKR Colombia, scaling it to an $800M valuation. She's building PITZ to be the first Latina‑founded infrastructure company headed for Wall Street. She moves fast. If you join, you need to keep up.
