Operations Specialist - Delivery and Logistics
We are seeking an experienced operations specialist to join our team in ensuring the smooth delivery of packages across major cities in the United States.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring ongoing deliveries, assisting delivery drivers and shippers over the phone and live chat, and optimizing delivery routes to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize delivery routes to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery times.
* Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service via phone and live chat, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
* Collaboration with Drivers and Shippers: Work closely with delivery drivers and shippers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
Requirements:
* Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
* Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work based on the Eastern US time zone (EDT) to ensure seamless coordination with teams across different regions.
* Logistics Experience: Previous experience in logistics, courier operations, call center, or customer support is essential for success in this role.
