We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of key objectives across CPI's strategic priorities and to develop your skills in research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform quantitative and qualitative evaluation of climate finance mechanisms and policies
* Lead complex research assignments and analytical projects
* Write high-quality reports, executive summaries, blogs, and presentations
* Engage clients, advise policymakers, and investors on research findings
* Communicate and collaborate with staff working around the globe
Requirements:
We are looking for a post-graduate or master's degree holder with 5-7 years of experience in economics, finance, investment, or a relevant field.
* Significant professional experience in financial services, management consulting, international nonprofit, government, and/or a multilateral institution
* Strong understanding of climate finance and the financial sector actors and actions that are needed to mobilize effective finance towards adaptation and resilience activities
* Excellent project management skills including time management, task delegation, and prioritization, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong commitment to topics related to climate change, sector-specific or multi-sector climate finance expertise, and advanced user skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, would be beneficial.
