Process Safety Management (PSM)
Leader for its Bahia plant.
We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in process safety to lead the implementation, continuous improvement, and governance of our global PSM program. This strategic role is essential to ensure operational integrity, protect people and assets, and foster a resilient safety culture across our industrial operations.

Responsabilidades e atribuições
Technical Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance
* Prepare specialized PSM reports including data validation, interpretation, and recommendations.
* Interpret and advise on complex regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
* Serve as the technical focal point for internal and external audits.
* Lead discussions with regulators and stakeholders regarding audits, inspections, and legal requirements.
* Contribute to budgeting and manage costs within scope, including capital improvements.
Systems Management, Projects, and Continuous Improvement
* Lead the development and implementation of new or enhanced PSM systems.
* Manage complex process safety improvement projects.
* Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for PSM.
* Support global PSM initiatives.
* Manage technological and organizational changes with a safety focus.
Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation
* Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and complex risk assessments.
* Perform Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
* Lead technical investigations of complex and/or specialized incidents.
* Facilitate complex risk evaluations.
Training, Workshops, and Leadership
* Design and lead PSM workshops.
* Deliver specialized and leadership training in process safety.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams, including oversight of contractors.
* Maintain a visible operational presence and partner with local and regional leadership.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, SHEQ, and HR to ensure strategic alignment.
Requisitos e qualificações
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related fields.
* Experience in process safety, with a leadership role.
* Deep knowledge of PSM elements: PSI, PHA, MOC, MI, PSSR, among others.
* Familiarity with local and international regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, NR-13, NR-20).
* Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications in process safety or auditing (e.g., CCPS, NEBOSH).
* Experience with integrated management systems and statistical analysis tools.
* Background in environments with a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
