Overview
The Head of Growth is a dynamic leader responsible for driving and scaling all aspects of the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to client retention and expansion. This is a hands-on role that requires a leader who can operate at a strategic level while directly contributing to revenue through their own sales efforts, regardless of deal size. Reporting to the CEO, this individual will build a high-performing team and a scalable sales engine, using data and compelling storytelling to maximize revenue from both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that encompasses new business acquisition and client account expansion.
* Design scalable outbound processes, defining clear qualification criteria, and creating repeatable playbooks and messaging frameworks.
* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and customer organization to become trusted advisors who are equipped with the skills and industry knowledge to solve business challenges for clients.
* Proactively guide the team to consistently exceed revenue and retention targets by identifying and securing opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account expansion.
* Champion a data-first culture by leveraging both internal and external data to inform all sales motions.
* Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts, building strong, lasting relationships with executives and decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships and renewals.
* Work closely with internal operations teams to demonstrate product ROI, predict client churn, and measure team performance and success.
* Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations, to align on target accounts, campaigns, pipeline objectives, and go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
* 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales, sales development, or client account management, with a proven track record of building and scaling client-facing or sales teams.
* Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue and retention targets. Proven experience closing new business deals of varying sizes and growing accounts to over $100,000+.
* A track record of successfully leading, mentoring, and scaling a sales or sales development team.
* Skilled at using data and analytics to manage team performance, define strategy, and improve results.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and value propositions to a wide range of audiences.
* Deep understanding of the mortgage lending industry or related technology is strongly preferred.

Compensation: $151,800 - $211,000 (OTE: $233,700)
