We’re looking for a motivated and curious Communications & PR Intern to support the communication strategy of our Brazilian media brands, including ThePlayoffs and others. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to learn about PR, media relations, and influencer marketing in a fast-paced digital media environment. You’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on experience, support day-to-day activities, and contribute to growing our visibility across Brazil.
To be more specific, your key responsibilities will be:
Press relations
* Help draft and adapt press releases.
* Research journalists, editors, and bloggers, and assist with outreach.
* Support tracking of press coverage and organization of media lists.
* Monitor industry trends and gather insights to identify opportunities.
Influencer & talent collaboration
* Research and identify influencers, creators, or celebrities that align with our brands.
* Assist with outreach and relationship-building with talent and agents.
* Support the preparation of campaign briefings and results tracking.
Brand messaging & cross-team coordination
* Contribute to ensuring consistent brand messaging across communications.
* Collaborate with internal teams (editorial, social media) to align on priorities.
* Help coordinate calendars and timelines for PR and influencer activities.
The ideal profile 💎
We’re looking for someone excited to learn and grow with MoveUp Media. You don’t need to have prior professional experience, but you’ll be a great fit if you have:
* Ongoing or recently completed studies in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
* Excellent writing skills in Brazilian Portuguese.
* Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).
* Curiosity to learn about PR, media, and influencer marketing.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive mindset and team-player spirit.
* Interest in sports and media is a plus!
