Video Editor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced video editor to join our team creating engaging content for a direct-to-consumer fragrance brand. You will be responsible for editing reaction videos, testimonials, and direct-response ads that drive conversions across social media platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
* Edit 10-15 user-generated content (UGC) videos per week from raw creator footage
* Create compelling hooks and maintain viewer engagement throughout videos
* Add motion graphics, text overlays, and visual effects
* Optimize videos for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
* Collaborate with the creative team on video concepts and improvements
* Maintain brand consistency across all content
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of video editing experience
2. A portfolio demonstrating UGC and direct-response video work
3. Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
4. Motion graphics skills (After Effects preferred)
5. Understanding of social media algorithms and video optimization
6. Fast turnaround times while maintaining quality
7. Experience with direct-to-consumer brands preferred
8. Experience with AI tools
9. Experience with Meta Ads
