FUNCTION: Solutions Development Lead MM and PPM_LATAM
LOCATION: Paulinia / São Paulo / Brazil

GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
* Plan, direct and implement Phase 3 (GSC phase: project) solution deployment
* Support to Mosquito Management and Professional Pest Management
* Maintain awareness of regional developments in scientific knowledge, regulatory affairs, and activism that may dictate changes in stewardship &/or composition of our portfolios
* Identify / optimize innovative ideas, through interaction with development specialists, university researchers, technical directors, and other opinion leaders in markets
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
Innovation
* Be the center of regional technical knowledge
* Lead the late assessment of new products Phase 3 (GSC phase: project) full development activities based on internal & external capabilities
* Lead Deployment of team in LATAM region to implement field trials programs across geography supporting effective phase 3 development
* Tailor transformational projects for region after prototype approval (end of ‘Test & Learn’ phase)
* Lead an expert panel within the RIC/Technical Segment Platform (TSP) to drive the development of the technology component of our late Development Pipeline
* Lead Portfolio Life Cycle Management [Segment].
* Lead the generation of data to support regulatory submissions, bio-dossier and new product profiling.Support product launches regionally and provide expertise to the other regional deployment teams
* Manage contract research and development (external)
Cross-functional work
* Collaborate with Early Development (ED) teams through idea generation from commercial team and customer insights using technical expertise/ knowledge exchange.
* Lead the team through the necessary governance process at regional level (Governance / GSC).
* Collaborate with in-licensing team to evaluate potential 3rd party opportunities. Cross-fertilize with other regions for new technologies and a.I. sources/ potentials.
Science-sharing
* Represent Envu in the scientific and commercial world
* Ensure competitive overview & trends are available and insights leveraged
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal
* Head of CoE
* Biologists and field-based development scientists executing research programs
* Collaborates with operational marketing leaders
* Collaborates with country/regional regulatory affairs team
* Serves as technical advisor of mosquito management and professional pest management on regional committees
External
* Global scientific community of the region
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
* Ph.D. degree in Entomology, Biology and related fields, plus 5 years of industry experience in discipline research and development or MSc with 10 years of experience in Entomology, Biology and related fields.
* Research experience in alternative technologies;
e.G. peptides, RNAi, small molecules and work experience in pipeline development will be an advantage
* Research experience in areas relevant to regional business
