Seeking an experienced Technical Lead to design and develop enterprise-grade data integration and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle performance tuning, query optimization, execution plans, indexing, partitioning, and parallelism.
They will lead technical decision-making, mentor team members, and collaborate with DBAs and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, scalable data solutions.
* Optimize query and database performance to meet strict SLAs (<2 seconds).
* Analyze execution plans and recommend indexing, partitioning, and optimization strategies.
* Partner with DBAs to validate and implement tuning recommendations.
* Oversee ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data quality.
* Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS) for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
* Lead and mentor the team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
* Translate technical decisions into clear explanations for both technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments.
* Expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including query optimization, execution plans, indexes, partitioning, and parallelism.
* Hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
* Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
* Experience in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
* Proven leadership experience, including team mentoring and technical guidance.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with DBAs, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.
Nice to Have:
Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS).
Prior experience in Wealth Management.
