Job Title: Commodities Trader
We are seeking an experienced professional to support validation for commodities asset class onboarding to an equity derivatives trading desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in commodities and/or equity derivatives.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing. This will involve working closely with the EQD Desk Traders (L3) to address issues and resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
* Work closely and address issues from EQD Desk Traders (L3)
* Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations
* Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
* Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables
* Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business
* Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role
* SQL proficiency
