The Role
We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Fund Operations Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team in São Paulo. This is a critical role in our firm's infrastructure, demanding both technical rigor and strong operational ownership.
You will be a key member of our back-office team, working directly with the CFO and senior partners to ensure the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of our fund's operations. You will own the \"engine room\" of an international investment fund — managing offshore structures, investor relations, financial controls, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
This role offers significant exposure to the full lifecycle of a growth-stage VC fund and direct interaction with world-class financial service providers.
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Management & Treasury — Own day-to-day treasury operations for both local (CNPJs) and offshore entities, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, FX operations, and bank reconciliations.
· Fund Administration Management — Manage the relationship with external stakeholders of the fund's US entities, including Fund Administrators, legal counsel, tax advisors, and external auditors (Big 4).
· Investor Relations (IR) Operations — Execute Capital Calls, Distributions, and NAV calculations. Lead LP onboarding (KYC/AML) and serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and reporting.
· Financial Reporting & Close — Lead monthly and quarterly close in coordination with external accountants. Review the fund's financial statements for accuracy and compliance (US GAAP / IFRS).
· Legal & Governance — Review fund documents (agreements, side letters, subscription docs) and maintain the Data Room to ensure audit readiness at all times.
· Fundraising Operations Support — Support capital raising processes, including Data Room management, LP due diligence coordination, and subscription document processing.
· Process Improvement — Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement scalable processes and tools across the fund's back-office.
Requirements
· 1–3 years of experience in Fund Operations, Fund Administration, Audit (Big 4 or similar), or Corporate Finance / Treasury at a financial institution, investment fund, or large corporation.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
· Exceptional organizational skills and precision in financial data management.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel.
· Ability to interpret financial statements, understand fund accounting principles, and flag risks proactively.
· Ownership mentality — ability to manage multiple workflows autonomously and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
· Fluent English
