Murex Business Analyst Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Murex business analyst consultant to provide first and second level production system support on Murex 3.1.
* The ideal candidate will work on various Murex system implementations, configurations, and developments in datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
* Analysing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
* Following client software development lifecycle and documentation requirements.
* SUPPORTING IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
* Developing and testing database and infrastructure changes.
* Performing technical reviews of production changes.
* Writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
* Maintaining and enhancing the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
* Dealing directly with business users across the bank, including front, middle, and back office, finance, product control, and risk to analyse and diagnose business critical issues.
* Analysing and resolving issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
* Providing detailed information about issues to the vendor and coordinating testing fixes/solutions.
* Acting as an intermediary between business and vendor.
* Debugging and enhancing bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience with Murex in a support capacity.
* Strong technical capability.
* A solid understanding of datamart.
